Ciara will host the Los Angeles festivities, which features additional performances by Kane Brown, BTS, Kelly Clarkson, Fitz & The Tantrums, Florida Georgia Line, Halsey, Khalid, Shawn Mendes, Charlie Puth, Portugal. The Man and Hailee Steinfeld, and all-star collaborations from Alessia Cara and Zedd, G-Eazy and Halsey, Khalid with Marshmello, Bebe Rexha featuring Florida Georgia Line.

Additionally, Lucy Hale will return to host the 2nd annual Central Time Zone countdown celebration from New Orleans, where Imagine Dragons and Walk The Moon are slated to perform.

Looking for an all-natural heat protectant? Jojoba oil is the perfect way to moisturize your hair.

Magnesium Must-Have

If you want to give your tresses a boost, you may want to make sure you’re getting enough magnesium in your diet, shares Viviscal, makers of Viviscal Hair Growth and Hair Care Programs. Magnesium helps prevent calcium build-up on your scalp. When calcium clogs hair follicles, your scalp will be dry, flaky and you could even see some hair loss. These calcium deposits on and around the hair follicles can increase over time due to scalp inflammation.

Magnesium counteracts with calcium, improving circulation and making sure calcium gets to your bones where it’s needed, rather than clogging up on the surface of your scalp. Better circulation also means that other nutrients from your diet are getting to your follicles.

It’s a win-win!

Party Upsweep – How-To!

New Year’s Eve is coming up, and if you’re still looking for the perfect upsweep, here’s a fab option for you, created by SJ Forbes…

1. Prepare the hair with Kérastase K Styling V.I.P. Volume in Powder, and then curl the hair to give it more texture and movement.

2. Take a halo section around the crown and secure with a clear band to create the first ponytail.

3. Take another section from behind the ears and secure with a clear band to create a second ponytail, keeping the two front sections loose.

4. Take the two ponytails and tie them in a knot, securing them with pins.

5. Keep knotting the ponytails and securing with pins until you run out of hair to knot. Take the remaining hair and twist and pin up around the knotted bun.

6. Take the first loose side section – leaving a few tendrils around the face – and comb back the rest of the hair, crossing it over the knotted bun. Repeat the process with the other loose section of hair.

7. Carefully twist up the remaining hair and pin up the ends underneath the bun. Finish and set the look with  hairspray.

Candace’s Style Secret!

How does Fuller House actress Candace Cameron Bure get fuller hair? She revealed her mane beauty secret on Instagram…

“Sometimes I don’t have time to wash and blow dry, so my best friend is dry shampoo. I love to use Dove Volume & Fullness. It’s perfect when I need a quick refresh. It also is great for fine hair, like mine, to add extra body and grit to the root when it’s fresh and clean.”

Julianne’s Pony

Julianne’s Hough gives us the perfect pony for any occasion. Created by hairstylist Jill Buck from Nine Zero One Salon in West Hollywood, here’s the how-to…

“For this look, we did a fun and flirty ponytail,” shares Buck. “When hair is extremely blonde like Julianne’s it’s important to see how it reads on camera and typically the blonder it is the more washed out it can look. So when choosing my curl pattern I went more structured in order to see it better. After the hair was curled and spritzed with Joico’s Power Spray Fast-Dry Finishing Spray, I sectioned a small ponytail on the center of her head; that’s how I ensure the clip in extension will stay hidden inside. Leaving the top hair out, I collected all the hair and secured with a large rubber band. The hair left on top was spritzed again with Power Spray and twisted back using just my fingers to create texture and softness. A few pins and sprays and she was ready!”
