Marc Ecko’s Handbag Collection Features A Blonde Bombshell

AnnaLynne McCord is the face of Marc Ecko’s handbag collection. “AnnaLynne is a proper bombshell,” says Marc Ecko. “She makes my heart skip a beat. She’s got a great sense of style and a good vibe.” Here, makeup artist and M.A.C. Cosmetics’ Director of Makeup Artistry Gregory Arlt tells us how to secure the 90210 actress’ look.

  • I thought it would be great to do a modern spin on the makeup looks worn by classic bombshells like Brigitte Bardot and Ann-Margret. I started by giving AnnaLynne a smokey bronze metallic eye and strong brow, which I balanced out with a soft, glossy beige lip.
  • To make her eyes pop, I used a variety of M.A.C. products. I applied Rice Paper shadow as the base, Mulch and All That Glitters on her lids, Kid in the crease, and then I intensified her brows by filling them in with Cork shadow.
  • The secret to creating AnnaLynne’s smokey eye is to blend, blend, blend. A great smokey eye needs to look smudged, not slapped on. It’s all about using fluffy brushes to help you blend out the edges of shadow.
  • I decided to stick with beige and bronze shades instead of the typical gray or black because it creates a warm and sexy vibe.
