This Stardust Collection is filled with rich color that’s out of this world.

Purple Reign

All eyes will be on you and this flirty and colorful coif. A dark jade base is the perfect canvas for pops of mauve, amethyst, lilac and heather. Tresses are then spun into large curls that free-fall past the shoulders. Love this look by The Salon by InStyle inside JCPenney stylist Kass.

Sadly those little Sweetheart heart candies won’t be sold this year for Valentine’s Day…how could this happen But, we will survive! Just when you thought all hope was lost for today…Kate Reid, Design Director for COLOR.ME BY Kevin Murphy has saved the day with this SweetHeart Candy look with her advice on the fab color!

Tell us a little about the Sweetheart Candy Hair color.
Pastels have been getting bigger and bigger every year, so it’s no wonder the look is here for Valentine’s Day. This year the question is more about which shade of pink rather than pink as a whole. Rose pink is our go-to for 2019 and to complete the SweetHeart look.

What inspired you to come up with the pastel hue?
Rose pink works with both warm and cool skin tones and actually sits quite neutral. This shade is made intense or more pastel when mixed, so you can pick which shade you want whether it’s “Call Me!” or “Kiss Me!” For Valentine’s Day, it’s your choice on making baby doll shades right to long lasting dense pastels. So stunning!

What skin tone does this look best on?
As mentioned anyone can wear it, it’s just what shade is best for you. On cooler skin tones work with lighter pastel rose shades or cooler dusty pinks and roses. Warm skin types should ask for dense roses, antique rose to rose golds to really make the skin glow.

What should you ask your stylist for Sweetheart Candy Hair?
Reference pictures are great, plus explain your expectation on durability as it’s up to your colorist weather it lasts just through Valentine’s Day or beyond.

How can you maintain the shade at home?
Colouring.Angels  is my go-to. No matter which SweetHeart hue you choose, there is a conditioning treatment to enhance your desired shade. They are like a lip gloss for hair adding luminous shine and topping maintaining tonal reflect. For rose or pink hair, Autumn Angel is the best and extends the life of your color

Can you rock the trend post Valentine’s Day?
Pastel and color are such huge fashion statements. These shades are timeless when worn correctly. You will fall in love once you try it!

Singer Sabrina Carpenter is ready to hit the stage with this graphic eyeliner. The “Sue Me” singer kept everything simple to let a silver-white graphic, winged eyeliner be the star of the show.

One Great Look: Chocolate Suede

Hair by Kimemily Pham
Excellent Hair Salon of Newark, Newark

Silken, walnut tresses look like expensive velvet for this coif. Hair tumbles in voluminous, blended waves down the back. A small section is separated and tucked into a loose shape for a half-up half-down shape.

Modern Muse

“LBD” songstress Becky G is no stranger to super sultry styles. Here, the singer is embracing the old Hollywood-inspired game with her ebony bob styled into voluminous curves that frame her face just right!

Technicolor Texture

With importance placed on technique, a strong silhouette is created with a focus on illuminated, eye-catching color creating a stand-out look. Pewter, charcoal, mauve, coral and seafoam are blend together seamlessly while also standing out individually. Tight ringlets are pulled into a loose updo.

Hollywood hair artist, Riawna Capri of Nine Zero One Salon, took celebrity Ruby Rose’s hair from brunette to lilac. Capri explains… “I wanted to go beyond the traditional blonde or brunette for Ruby; we wanted to have fun with her color! I created this ‘violet moon’ color for her a few weeks ago, which was easier to achieve, as I had just taken her hair bleach-blonde. This time, we wanted to take it a step further… Rubicorn!

“To channel Ruby’s inner unicorn, I added lilac/lavender on the bottom and top roots, tipped it out with sapphire blue (diluted) and soft pink for the front piece to make her color truly unique!

“Pastels like lilac will only take to super-blonde hair. Make sure your hair is healthy before bleaching it. It may take more than one appointment to slowly bring your hair to this pastel trend.”

Big Little Hair

Leave it to Nicole Kidman and her style team to find the perfect amount of volume without too much pouf. A little teasing at the crown enhances the partial pull-back, not to mention the only-a-little-bit-fluffy waves.

One Great Look: Blonde Ambition

Hair by Hannah Swaner

Plush Waves

Actress Lea Michele is the queen of sultry waves! Here, The Mayor actress’ brunette mane is elegantly highlighted with pops of a cashew-blonde. Tresses are spun into voluminous and blended waves that tumble way past the star’s cute sweater collar.

Power Couple

Nothing is better than when you and your significant other are both on top of your mane game. From Eleven Australia’s “Remix” collection, these looks celebrate a person’s individual style. For her, ginger-spiced tresses are styled into a flirty lob with loose waves and a straight bang. For him, dark roots are dipped in a pale silver-gray and snipped shorter on the sides with the front texturized and tousled.
