Aveda is making a difference with its latest philanthropic campaign with the National Audubon Society and Bird Life International.

She’s about to come out with a new album, and now she’ll have a CoverGirl campaign to go with it. It’s Pink! Yay!

“I grew up with CoverGirl — who didn’t?,” shares the singer. “No matter how aggressive or strong we are, we all want to feel beautiful. For tour, my makeup is colorful. It’s always got to be smoky, sexy, and then [I have a] ‘no makeup’ makeup look, which is actually harder than all of them. It just depends on your mood or the color of your tube socks.”

“With the signing of Pink, COVERGIRL is celebrating ‘Beauty with an Edge’ and who better to deliver that message than someone who embodies art and attitude,” the makeup brand said. “Pink and CoverGirl are looking to inspire women to celebrate their individuality and never settle for a single beauty standard.”

Pink will be the face of a new mascara, and her campaign will debut sometime this fall. So how does the singer feel about joining the likes of CoverGirls Sofia Vergara, Queen Latifah, Drew Barrymore, Taylor Swift and Ellen DeGeneres? “Joining a group of women who have always inspired me —to laugh out loud, let my guard down, or play around with my beauty look — is such an honor,” said Pink.
