Hi Hanna,
Try using a volumizing shampoo when you wash your hair. Before you dry it, put in a dime-sized amount of mousse and blow-dry your hair upside down to pump up the volume. For curls, wrap your hair around the barrel of the curling iron and make sure you spritz hairspray on each individual curl after you curl your hair. Happy styling!

Hi!
I have what people call fine hair. I never straighten it because its naturally straight. It doesn't frizz up. I can't stand how flat it is! I have tried curling irons, the curls never stay? Any tips on giving my hair a little volume and curls?

Hi, Riley!
After shampooing and conditioning your hair, gently remove excess water from wet strands to remove some of the weight from your hair and encourage waves. Apply a lightweight mousse to your hair to help shape and define your natural wave pattern. Then blow-dry strands using a diffuser attachment. The keys to a frizz-free day are applying product to damp hair and to avoid fussing with your hair too much.

Hello
I have kind of thick shoulder-length hair that is naturaly wavey and puffy. I usualy straighten my hair, but now I like curls. What are some ways to wear my hair curly? Sometimes I scrunch my hair with some mousse but it still can look puffy. I can curl it, but are there any other good ways to get curls beside a perm?

Hi, Faith!
If your hair is only wavy at the long length, it may not go all "Shirley Temple" on you if you were to cut it up to your collar bone/shoulder length and put some fun layers into it. A lot of women who have hung onto extra long hair for a long time have been looking to go a little shorter and the changes have been outstanding. Ask your stylist about snipping some face-framing layers and possibly a few highlights around the face.

I have long, wavy, blonde hair that reaches about halfway down my back. It's kind of dry, and I would like to get a short snip, but I'm a little nervous that it will shrink up and I'll get the Shirley Temple look. Any tips? Ideas of how short I should get it cut? (I was thinking maybe shoulder-length shag type idea.)
Thanks!
