Oh my!!! Someone earlier mentioned a styling station in their house!! Can we go that far? I would never have reason to leave the house again, WOULD LOVE THAT!! With sexy animal print wall paper/leather styling chair!! If it wasn’t animal print than it would have to be in bubble gum pink. Fabulous! (Yes there is a touch of Brig (Shear Genius) in my style)

Let’s see, well I am attending beauty school in the fall, so maybe a beauty scholarship…A collection of CHI Blow Dryers, and straighteners custom designed in every exotic flavor (and of course animal prints). Love that “Roo Leatherette zebra skirt” that would be nice; Santa never brings it…hmmm, what else? So many ideas but I don’t want to seem like a glutton….maybe a celebrity stylist to give me extensions, and bring back “The Rachel”? Oh but with a popping color like…Cherry Red!! I could rock that! Make what’s old, new again!

    :)

I would like to have a CHI or Izunami flat iron in pink and Fiberguard hair coloring in
Red or auburn. Of course any high end conditioning, good smelling and most natural
Hair products will do for me.

  2. Cheryl says:

I would love to have my hair styled by a superb seasoned stylist. I live in a small town, and truly have NEVER had a super fantastic cut. I have fine hair at the crown, fuller everywhere else. It is hard to find a style that works great on me! I also love the products that I find in salons, a few of my favorites are Joico and Bedhead’s Masterpiece Hairspray!

    • Sophisticate's Hairstyle Guide says:

  4. Jacklynn Walker says:

I would love to win a chance to have my hair done by a celebrity stylist and the latest hair care products. I have very long hair past my butt and it’s time for a change. I’m fixing to be 30 this month and the reason I let It grow this long is for my mom she has bout 5yrs to live and might need a wig or stentions one day and I wanted her to beablw to use my hair.

    • Sophisticate's Hairstyle Guide says:

      Hi, Jacklynn:
Keep watching future issues of Sophisticate’s Hairstyle Guide, as we do have opportunities to win makeovers (our upcoming June 2010 issue features a reader makeover!). We think what you’re doing for your mom is wonderful, and we wish you both the very best with everything.

  5. Erin says:

    Hello :)
My name is Erin Louise and I thought this survey would be a great chance for me to take a break from my daily stressors.

I would love to win my own little styling station to put in
my bedroom (bathroom would be an Awesome place to put it, but it’s like the size of a very small closet) *haha*

A chair would be nice but it wouldn’t fit into my tiny living space, just the counter space would be cool…with the sliding counters that have “hidden” drawers underneath so I could keep the space looking nice and neat all the time. :) Oh and of course I can’t leave out my favorite part of my fantasty…the built in appliance holders for the hair dryer, flat iron, and curling irons. :)
A girl can dream right? *haha*

The reason I chose the styling station is that it would make my life a little less hectic. Usually I don’t even have the time to do my hair or makeup because it seems I’m always on the run…but if I would win something like this…it would make it a lot easier to actually do my hair because everything would be right there and organized.
I always feel so much better about myself when I do have the time to do my hair :)

well i’ve rambled on long enough…but this was fun!! thank you!! and please don’t hesitate to give me a call if you need my room measurements *hahaha* …only kidding of course

btw…I love love love your magazine! keep up the Awesome work! :)

I’d love to win free products, but I have no clue where to enter the little codes you give in the magazine. Perhaps I’m clueless, but I’d love some techie guidance from your team!

    • katie says:

  14. Adriana Danwing says:

I would love to win hair products recomended by a professional hair stylist. I have wavy, thin and lifeless hair, it looks good as soon as I am done styling it, I go outdoors and pufff disappears the other reason I live in Florida I wish I could get information on hair products that will help me.

    • Sophisticate's Hairstyle Guide and Billy Lowe says:

      Dear Adriana:
Living in climates with high humidity levels can be tricky. You want to give life and bounce to the hair without weighing it down.

Heavier styling creams can sometimes be too heavy, yet they are good because they can keep excess moisture from affecting the hair.

I recommend using light-weight shaping mousses which will add body and fulness, and still keep hair manageable. Since you have thin hair, be careful not to overdo it with heavier products as they can weight the hair down and cause scalp area to look greasy.

A light tousled curl can add movement and life to otherwise limp hair. Use a 1 inch barrel to curl and shake loose with fingers or a blow-dryer for a more care-free effect. Finish with a light hold spray and remember to spray underneath as well for more fullness and support. You can do this by bending over and spraying hair in upside down manner.

Professional color can also add life and fullness to hair, and give lovely results.

Be sure to keep an eye out for future issues of Sophisticate’s Hairstyle Guide–we’re always offering the chance to win free products that might be perfect for you to try!

    chi flat iron

  16. Sylvia Rivera says:

If I could win any beauty product it would be a really great blow dryer. My hair is so thick, curly and frizzy that it just gets even more wild and frizzy when I use my regular blow dryer. The salon blow dryers seem to keep my hair much more maintained.

    • Bonnie L. Krueger, Editor-in-Chief says:

      Sylvia:

  18. Brandie says:

If I could win any hair or beauty product in the world, it would be what ever the best product is for volume. I like my hair, but at times I feel like it’s just so dull and lifeless. It’s straight and about 3 or 4 inches past my shoulders. It’s thin and needs a lot of volume at times. I’ve tried different volumizer’s in the past, I just don’t care for the way the product’s make my hair feel dirty.

    • Bonnie L. Krueger, Editor-in-Chief says:

      Hi Brandie:

Check out our anniversary issue on sale now with tons of freebies!
