Great styles that work on all types of hair. My hair below shoulders but very fine. Also I would include more “How to’s”
such as how to apply/remove hair extensions and more detailed
styling tips.
Hi, Cassie!
Thanks for the suggestions! You should definitely check out our At Home Styling Guide at the back of each issue of Sophisticate’s Hairstyle Guide. We get the styling information directly from tress pros that create the looks. We try very hard to get you the best information possible!
I’m over 50 and plus size. Would like to see some softer styles with layers and movement flattering to someone my age.
Hi, Stephanie!
Thanks for the suggestion. We try our best to provide a variety of looks in our Clip & Snip section of the magazine. This way, it’s easy for you to choose a style you like, clip it out and bring it to the salon. We work hard to feature the styles you like!
NEW and distinctively unique haircuts and styles for us women who took the plunge and cut our long thick hair and now cannot find a style to suit. I would like to see more mid-length styles with choppy styles.
Tessa:
Nice to hear from you! We’ll keep this in mind while working on our next issue…
I have been seeing A LOT of short styles that are on the conservative side as well as a few of them look like the same from the previous issues.
I have been keeping my eye out through several magazines and issues for a little while now since I have decided to cut my long hair off and go for something short and edgy.
I’m 32 and young at heart. I know one day my looks will catch up to my age, but I’m not trying to speed the process up. I have 2 daughters, 13 and 10, and a super sexy husband that I intend to keep myself up for. Since 40′s are the new 30′s and 30′s are the new 20′s, I would love to see more styles that reflect that. I would also love to see more short styles for women with full faces. I am an average sized woman and most of us are average and voluptuous and curvy. It’s hard to imagine certain styles on someone that isn’t a size 2.
Help the soccer moms step up their hair game, please!!! Thanks :O)
Niika:
Thank you for your letter. I will make certain (as we always try to do) to include for everyone, including our soccer mom readers.
Again, thank you and we will work harder!
It would be hairstyles suitable for women over 40.
Kimberly:
Thank you for your comment! We always include styles for women of all ages in Sophisticate’s. After all, 40s are the new 30s
Kellie Pickler rocks! She was voted Country Weekly’s most beautiful woman twice, world’s sexiest vegetarian, and now a Sophisticate’s Hairstyle Guide Style Icon! Yeah!
Chris…
