Natalie Dormer’s Rock & Roll Bun

natalie dormer 1

natalie dormer 2Natalie Dormer looked smashing at one of the big premiers for Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2, complete with a ball gown fitting a princess and an upsweep to go with it. But since Natalie plays the edgy Cressida in the flick, it’s only fitting that her ballerina bun came with some attitude.

Hairstylist Giannandrea, International Creative Director for Macadamia Professional, added volume and twists for a pompadour rock & roll vibe. The pro offers up advice for how to steal Natalie’s style…

1.

Apply a volumizing product to damp hair and blow-dry large sections with a large round brush to create ample volume all over.

Rub a quarter sized amount of Macadamia Professional Whipped Detailing Cream in palms and apply throughout hair to create texture and separation.

3.

Tease the roots at the crown to build volume. Twist hair back in small to medium sections and secure with straight pins, leaving wispy pieces loose.

4.

Twist remaining hair into a bun in the center back of the head and secure with pins for an effortless finish. Leave small pieces out on the side for a windswept look.
