Drybar co-founder Alli Webb shows Sophisticate’s Hairstyle Guide some love!

Sophisticate’s Hairstyle Guide was invited to an event at the new Chicago Hyatt Centric hotel that showcased what’s in store for you when you book a fabulously streamlined room for your next trip.

“Hyatt Centric guests don’t live in a one-size-fits-all world. When traveling, they look for the personal touches they are used to in their daily lives,” said Jonathan Frolich, vice president of global brands, Hyatt Centric, about the new hotel concept. So how does Drybar fit in?

It means you won’t have to worry about packing that hair dryer for your next trip. Pretty cool, huh?

Beginning this month, professional, signature yellow (super lightweight, too!) Drybar Buttercup Blow-Dryers will begin to roll out in every Hyatt Centric guest room nationwide. Custom DIY tips and a how-to video from Drybar co-founder and creative officer Alli Webb (picture above) will also be available to help you achieve the perfect blow-out in your room!

Fab food. Ahhh…those fabulous press events!

“We are thrilled to help Hyatt Centric guests look their best while traveling for fun or on business,” enthused Webb. “Just the idea of having a great dryer in your hotel room when you check in is amazing,” the enterprising cosmetologist continued. “Hyatt Centric felt like the right fit because they’re a boutique-y hotel, affordable and in great cities!”

Why did Webb select yellow as Drybar’s signature hue? “It’s such a fun and happy pop of sunshine!” OK…we’re on board!

What else can you expect on your first visit to Hyatt Centric? How about BeeKind eco-friendly bath and body products, Keurig in-room coffee brewing systems and JBL Wireless speakers—all rolling out this month? Oh yeah, don’t forget the lobby lounge, which is a launch pad providing guests with info about hip and happening places to visit while on vacay. Also—we spotted a trendy restaurant and bar that was totally a place we’d want to unwind in.
