Sophisticate’s 10

Former soap opera star Taylor Spreitler is stealing the spotlight on Melissa & Joey with her first-class acting skills and her lovely shoulder-grazing snip! Here the former Days Of Our Lives actress shares her mane secrets with Sophisticate’s Hairstyle Guide

“My hair is a little shorter than it used to be but it’s still long—about a medium length. I might cut it to my shoulders, but I’m a little scared because I’ve always had really long hair.”
  • My styling routine…
I like more of a natural wave, so when I get out of the shower I let it air-dry. I just started using Moroccanoil Curl Cream—it’s really light and doesn’t make my hair feel heavy.
  • My haircolor…
My hair is a darker color [than it was on Days Of Our Lives] and has red, brown and blonde tones in it. It’s all kinds of colors! I did it specifically for Melissa & Joey. The stylists on the set wanted me to look more “girl next door.” It looks very natural.

    1. Carl Naquin says:

I onlt know Taylor from one movie “Girl On The Edge”, which I just saw this morning, I was surprised and happy to see a “local” Mississippi girl making it to a fine acting career, I spent a lot of time In Hattiesburg, visiting our son when he was residing in Petal, Ms. and going to The University Of Southern Miss. in Hattiesburg. My wife and I have come to really like Hattiesburg and prefer going there to shop as opposed to New Orleans, we live midway between the two. Anyway I am just happy for this lovely young lady. Have a good long career and congratulations.
