    3. Bonita Apatang says:

my hair always gets dry and damage ! i dont know what to do. i’ve tried different shampoos and ointment but still the same. what is the best way to solve this problem?
      please help

      • Sophisticate's Hairstyle Guide says:

        Hi, Bonita!
Look for a conditioner with protein or keratin. This type of conditioner helps to rebuild the hair and a leave-in conditioner coats the hair, making it feel thicker. You can also disguise the damage by wearing clip-in hair extensions.

    4. Lori says:

Question….certain top level products like Aveda for example cause me to get sore spots on the scalp. Any idea what ingredient could cause that so I can avoid products with that ingredient? Thanks!

      • Sophisticate's Hairstyle Guide says:

        Hi, Lori!
We’re working on an answer for you—visit soon!

    5. Paola says:

I’m not a fan of the Paul Mitchell shampoo. It leaves my hair feeling weird and stringy (even though I make sure to wash it all out). :/

      • Sophisticate's Hairstyle Guide says:

        Hi, Paola!
Everyone’s hair reacts differently to different products. Keep checking the magazine and this section of the website for more recommendations!

    6. Taylor says:

hey is tresemme a good brand to try? if not what is a good drugstore brand for colortreated hair???

      • Sophisticate's Hairstyle Guide says:

        Hi, Taylor!
With so many brands on the market, it’s hard to recommend just one product for each person that visit’s our site. However, we do recommend looking for a sulfate-free shampoo to take care of your color-treated hair. Check in with your hairstylist (who will know the condition of your hair and scalp just as good as you do!) and ask for specific recommendations.

I Love & use Moroccan oil after every hair wash. Before straightening, also if I color my hair @ home. You add about 5 ml drop into haircolor & mix well. I also put some moroccan oil on towel dried hair b4 I color. I wait till hair dries. Just adding some 2 the color itself makes your hair color much shinier, softer. Just great for your hair! I have alot of family & friends who are addicted to it now!
